At Global Banking School (GBS), supporting students means looking beyond their academic studies. From wellbeing and academic support to career development, technology and progression, students have access to a range of services designed to help them make the most of their time at GBS.

The Student Engagement Showcase brought these teams together to give students the opportunity to meet the people behind these services, learn more about the support available to them and discover how they can make the most of the wider GBS community.

Representatives from Welfare, Library Services, Academic Integrity, Employment and Entrepreneurship, IT and Progression were on hand to speak directly with students and answer their questions.

The event provided an informal opportunity for students to find out more about the different ways GBS can support them throughout their student journey. Whether they needed guidance with their wellbeing, wanted to access library resources, understand academic integrity, explore employment and entrepreneurial opportunities, get help with IT or think about their next steps after completing their studies, students could connect directly with the relevant teams.

The showcase also encouraged students to engage with the different departments, ask questions and discover services they may not have previously used.

Alongside meeting staff and learning more about the support available, students took part in the event's raffle, adding an element of fun to the day and encouraging students to visit and engage with the different service areas.
