Global Banking School hosts first online guest lecture

GBS hosted its first online webinar, on 'Clarity and Sophistication in Academic Writing.'

Guest speaker Dr Steven O’Brien shared his higher education experience and top tips for successful academic writing.

The event was well attended and received a high level of engagement and positive feedback from students who enjoyed the opportunity to view the very informative content provided by Dr Steven O’Brien.

The event attracted just over 200 registrations from GBS students.

The feedback reflected that they thoroughly enjoyed the webinar, scoring the event 4.5 out 5.0 and 100% of attendees said they would attend GBS events again in the future. Further feedback from attendees was that they thought the content and presentation style was excellent:

“Thank you for taking the time to do the lecture, very useful to learn about academic writing skills”
“Engaging speaker and relevant content”
“Education is the key to success”
