Global Banking School (GBS), part of Global Education (GEDU), has boosted its reputation as a leading provider of private higher education, being named by EducationInvestor as a finalist in the Higher Education Institution of the Year category for 2024.

GEDU, the international education provider that owns GBS, has also been nominated.

Deputy CEO of GBS, James Kennedy said the nomination reflects the success of the institution’s approach to learning as it grows its reputation both domestically and internationally.

“GBS is providing students with a unique learning experience, offering flexibility, support and expertise, and it’s clear this approach is working,” said Mr Kennedy.

“Through our flexible study options, experienced lecturers and one-to-one support, we give our students the best possible opportunity to be successful in their careers.

“GBS serves a diverse range of communities across the UK, providing opportunities for people of all ages from those communities to gain the benefits of Higher Education with a service that has been designed to be accessible.

“GEDU is changing lives through education, and GBS is proud to be delivering on this ambition with its campuses across London, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds.”

For over a decade, EducationInvestor has been recognising excellence in education, spanning across multiple different sectors.

The 2024 Education Investor Awards will take place on June 13 at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge, London.
