GBS launches new website to improve the student journey

Global Banking School (GBS) has today launched a brand-new website, designed to help students enjoy a better journey through the higher education experience.

The website has received a major overhaul, designed to make it easier for users to find key information faster. It will also be more convenient for those who want to browse and discover the GBS experience themselves.

The overhaul comes after extensive research with students and prospective students, to find out what information was key to them and how they would like it presented for ease of use.

As a result of that research, they will find a new and improved student portal giving them all the information they need in one place.

Information about courses is easier to find and digest, as is the process for registering for a course. Navigation around the site has been improved and is more intuitive, and pages will be quicker to load.

Layouts and backgrounds have been chosen to make reading easier and quicker, especially on mobiles.

Professor Ray Lloyd, Chief Executive Officer of GBS, said: “The website is usually the first port of call for anyone wanting to know more about GBS, so it was essential to make that first experience as inviting and engaging as possible.

“Every area of the website has been enhanced, so whatever information someone is  looking for – be it job opportunities, the courses we offer, what life as a student is like, or just a phone number – it will be an easier journey from now on.”
