Global Banking School (GBS) has concluded an unforgettable graduation season, with 11 ceremonies held across Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and London, bringing together graduates, families, academics and distinguished guests to celebrate a remarkable year of achievement.
Over several weeks, students from GBS's ten campuses gathered at some of the UK's most iconic venues, including Wembley Stadium in London, Symphony Hall in Birmingham, The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, and the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds, to mark the completion of their higher education journey and the beginning of exciting new opportunities.
The celebrations began in Leeds, where graduates from across Yorkshire and the North of England crossed the stage at the Royal Armouries Museum, cheered on by proud family and friends.
The graduation season then moved to Birmingham, where two ceremonies took place at Symphony Hall, celebrating students from a wide range of disciplines, including business, healthcare, construction, digital technologies and more.
In Manchester, three ceremonies at The Bridgewater Hall recognised the achievements of graduates from GBS's northern campuses, highlighting the determination, ambition and resilience that had defined their academic journeys.
The celebrations concluded in London, where four ceremonies were held at Wembley Stadium. Across two days, thousands of graduates and guests came together in a vibrant atmosphere that reflected the scale, diversity and growing impact of the GBS community.
Throughout the graduation season, graduates were inspired by addresses from distinguished guests, academic leaders and industry figures, who encouraged them to embrace new opportunities, continue learning and make a positive difference in their communities and professions.
More than a series of ceremonies, the 2026 graduation season celebrated the life-changing impact of education. Many graduates balanced their studies alongside careers, caring responsibilities and personal commitments, making their achievements even more significant. Their stories reflected the determination and perseverance that define the GBS student community.
Across every venue, unforgettable moments unfolded—from emotional hugs and proud family celebrations to graduates crossing the stage to loud applause. Together, these moments showcased the strong sense of belonging that exists across GBS and the lasting connections formed throughout each student's journey.
As the final ceremony came to a close, one message resonated across all four cities: graduation is not an ending, but the start of new ambitions, new careers and new possibilities.
The Class of 2026 now joins GBS's growing alumni community, carrying forward the knowledge, confidence and determination to make a meaningful impact in workplaces, industries and communities across the UK and beyond.
