Visit of Rt. Hon. Mayor of Ealing Councillor Hitesh Tailor

GBS was privileged to host the Rt. Hon. Mayor of Ealing, Councillor Hitesh Tailor, at our Greenford campus on 1st March. Councillor Tailor was welcomed by Deputy CEO of GBS, James Kennedy, Head of Community Outreach, Dr Dinesh Saraswat and Managing Director at GEDU, Leo Falcone. The event began with an opportunity to share pleasantries and take photos during opening greetings, followed by an introductory meeting with our Senior Executive team.

Located in the London Borough of Ealing, our Greenford campus is a shining example of our commitment to excellence in education. The campus is home to a wide range of modern facilities and services which all enable our students to make the most of their learning experience.

This was a great opportunity to showcase how GBS adds value to the local community through the high-quality teaching we provide to our students each day. Councillor Tailor was given a tour of our classes where he enjoyed energetic exchanges with students and lecturers. Councillor Tailor also noted the diversity of the classes alongside the interesting topics covered which included Supporting People with Long-term Conditions, Principles of Operations Management and Business Decision Making. The class visits were followed by the chance go behind the scenes at English Path and an enjoyable visit to the Library.

There was also time to exchange thoughts and insights following the campus tour, where Councillor Tailor took the time to review his experiences with us at Greenford.

James Kennedy, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at GBS, enjoyed the experience and relished the occasion. “I am delighted that we were able to host such an esteemed dignitary here at our Greenford Campus and enjoyed being a part of showcasing how we add value to our local communities every day,” he said.

We look forward to more opportunities to expand our reach and invite more special guests to our campuses in the future at GBS.
