Global Banking School (GBS) has seen its reputation as a leading private provider of higher education boosted yet again, following the release of the 2025 National Student Survey (NSS).

The Office for Students (OfS) has today released its NSS data for 2025, showing a considerable increase in satisfaction across almost all categories.

Most notably, 90% of students were satisfied in the ‘Teaching on my Course’ category. This is a very high level of satisfaction and 3% above the average for the Higher Education sector as a whole.

GBS also ranked significantly above the sector average across all categories in the survey with Organisation and Management 8% higher and Academic Support 5% higher than the average reported by the OfS.

We are also proud of how empowered and supported our students feel, with Student Voice 12% higher, and Mental Wellbeing Services 8% higher then the sector average.

CEO of GBS, James Kennedy, said the results demonstrate the continued success of GBS’ in adding value to the lives of our students.

“Transforming lives through education is at the heart of everything we do, and it's incredibly rewarding to see that our students are highly satisfied with their experience. The latest results confirm that our students rate us well above the sector average, recognising the outstanding quality of their learning journey.

Our approach to higher education is intentionally different. We design our delivery around the needs of our students - placing them at the centre of every decision. Flexibility and accessibility are key, enabling learners to study in ways that suit their individual circumstances.

We take an inclusive approach to recruiting students, with an aim to widening access to higher education across Birmingham, Leeds, London, and Manchester. Many are balancing full- or part-time work, family responsibilities, and other commitments while pursuing their education.

Through our tailored programmes in areas such as construction management, digital technologies, health and social sciences, business and management, and banking and finance, we equip our students with the practical skills and knowledge needed to take the next step in their careers and become leaders in their fields.

We welcome today’s data from the OfS as a strong endorsement of the real and lasting impact we’re making in students’ lives.”
