GBS is delighted to announce a new partnership with Neo Cricket Club in East London, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to supporting grassroots initiatives and driving positive community engagement. The sponsorship, which runs through to the end of 2025, is aimed at uplifting local talent and fostering meaningful opportunities through sport. 

Neo Cricket Club was formed in 2018 by a group of friends from Leyton, to facilitate the game for the young people. Part of the Essex County league system, the club is committed to providing better facilities, training and resources for talented young cricketers in East London.

Ayaz Karim, Chairman of Neo Cricket Club acknowledged the success of the partnership: “The partnership between Neo Cricket Club has been instrumental in driving forward the club’s vision of inclusive, community-based cricket development. As our title sponsor, GBS has provided vital support that has enabled us to expand our reach, invest in our youth development programmes, and strengthen the overall infrastructure of the club. 
 
“With GBS’s backing, we’ve been able to provide structured coaching, equipment, and regular match opportunities for juniors across different age groups. Their support has also allowed us to take real strides towards launching our women’s section and working actively with local girls and women interested in cricket. We’ve begun laying the foundations to ensure our club environment is welcoming, inclusive, and supportive of female participation – something we believe is essential for the future of the game.”

This partnership will see GBS supporting Neo in a vast range of club activities and community events, reinforcing the underlying shared values of empowerment, inclusivity and advancement.
