  • Compassionate Care and Values-based Practice (15 credits)
  • Developing Leadership Skills (15 credits)
  • Developing Professional Practice (30 credits)
  • Evidence Based Practice (Pearson-set) (15 credits)
  • Planning Care in Practice (15 credits)
  • Teamwork and Communication (15 credits)

Year 2:

  • Establishing Professional Practice (30 credits)
  • Facilitating Change for Quality Care (15 credits)
  • Growing Careers in Health and Care (15 credits)
  • Innovation and Improvement through Participatory Action Research (Pearson-set) (30 credits)
  • Leadership, Mentoring and Coaching Others (15 credits)
  • Leading Quality Care (15 credits)

Applicants Must be Aged 18+ and: 

  • Have a Level 3 qualification or an Access to Higher Education certificate.
  • Demonstrate English proficiency: GCSE 4/C or CEFR B2. If you do not have this qualification, you can carry out an English test provided at a GBS campus.
  • Pass an Academic interview.

Applicants Aged 21+:

  • We welcome applications from students 21+ who do not match the standard entry requirements but who can demonstrate willingness and commitment to studying this subject, and who can evidence academic, professional or vocational experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrate English proficiency: GCSE 4/C or CEFR B2. If you do not have this qualification, you can carry out an English test provided at a GBS campus.

Important Information:

  • Please note an Enhanced DBS check is normally required prior to starting your course.
  • You are required to submit their CV prior to starting your course.

You may be able to borrow money from the UK Government to help pay your tuition fees and to help with your living costs while studying. 
 
This could take the form of a Tuition Fee Loan to cover the cost of your tuition fees, and/or a Maintenance Loan to support you with living costs whilst studying.
 
Please note you must be a resident in the UK for at least 3 years before starting this course to be eligible for student finance.
